KaKeKiKoKu Studio 1.6: a quieter workspace

When everything is fine, Studio stops reminding you it is there.

I have been noticing something while using KaKeKiKoKu Studio: when everything is fine, I do not want Studio to remind me. I want it there only when there is something to look at.

1.6 is about that. The issues panel now shows up only when there are issues. If there is nothing to see, it disappears. The space goes back to what actually matters: your content.

The buttons to analyze a project and to ask the AI for help have moved to the bottom bar. Always available, no longer depending on whether the panel is open. And next to them, two new icons: a bell to control whether the panel opens on its own when something appears, and a speaker for audio alerts. Different things, different controls.

Each issue gets direct actions: dismiss, exclude, or ask the AI to document it. No menus to open, no preferences to fight with.

And as a quieter bonus: if you work with several Studio windows open at once, they no longer step on each other. Each window keeps its own alerts and sounds in their place.

What comes next

1.6 is a foundation release. It sets the ground for what arrives in 1.7: the left panel stops being a flat list and becomes a real knowledge navigator.

After 1.7, I am going to take a short pause — a couple of weeks of using Studio on a different kind of project, away from its own code, to file down what fast shipping does not let me see. It is still early days, and I want it to be solid before pushing Studio harder out there.
